Do you move on weekends and evenings?
Yes. Weekends are our busiest time, and we do evening moves for office jobs and short runs. Just message us with the date and we will tell you what we have open.
How do I pay you?
Bank transfer or cash on the day. We sort the details when we confirm your slot. No deposit needed for most small jobs.
Can you take things apart and put them back together?
Yes, we carry basic tools for beds, wardrobes, tables, and flatpack furniture. Tell us what needs doing and we will factor the time in.
What if it rains on moving day?
We bring blankets and covers, and we keep an eye on the forecast. A bit of rain does not stop us, but we will wrap your things so nothing gets soaked.
Do I need to be there for a store pickup?
For IKEA and most stores, yes, you need to be at the store to pay and collect, or give us the order details. We can then deliver to your door even if you are not home, once you give us access details.
How big is the van?
We run Luton-box vans with plenty of room for a full house move. For smaller jobs we have a smaller van too. Tell us what you have and we bring the right one.
Can you do a same-day move?
Very often, yes. If we have a van free we can be with you the same day, especially for man with van jobs. The earlier you message, the better the chance.
Do you move pianos or very heavy items?
Upright pianos and heavy safes are case by case. Send us a photo and we will tell you straight if we can do it safely, or point you to someone who can.
